The raw material, clay known as “clay” is found in the subsoil of the Haguenau forest. It is directly usable. His presence ensured the development of this craft. The quality of Soufflenheim clay has long been recognized for its culinary and refractory characteristics. This exceptional clay, ideal for cooking dishes, easily withstands high temperatures. Clay fired at more than 1000°C, know-how passed down from one generation to another, and a love of a job well done guarantee you quality pottery. Our ancestors discovered this natural quality. We respect this tradition. HOW TO RECOGNIZE SOUFFLENHEIM CLAY The color of the fired clay is yellow (orange shade). It may have slight surface irregularities. Unglazed parts may be rough.

All pottery can be used in the oven – microwave and dishwasher
