The ancestral art of pottery has been present in Soufflenheim since the Bronze Age.
The raw material, clay known as “clay” is found in the subsoil of the Haguenau forest.

The color of the fired clay is yellow (orange shade). It may have slight surface irregularities. Unglazed parts may be rough.
